Sherry Fuller Behunin passed away in her home surrounded by family on September 29, 2025 in Monticello, UT.
Born on September 6, 1935, in the serene town of Monticello, Sherry was the beloved daughter of Lewis Cornelius Fuller and Della Marie Fox Fuller. Sherry was the fifth of six children.
Sherry grew up in Monticello where she met the love of her life, Leon Behunin, and together they embarked on life's journey for 73 years .
Blessed with the joy of their children—Alan Behunin, who preceded her in passing, Kerry (Deleska) Behunin, and Debra (Norman) Burraston.
Sherry's legacy continued to flourish through the lives of her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who called her Nanny.
After dedicating herself to the occupation of nursing, Sherry served her community with a compassionate heart for over 40 years.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Sherry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Sherry was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Her love for music and singing was a reflection of her inner harmony, while her enthusiasm for golfing and playing cards with friends revealed her playful spirit and love of camaraderie.
Sherry's zest for life was as infectious as it was inspiring.
Described by those who knew her best as loving, spirited, and adventurous, Sherry embraced each day with courage to her earthly journey, as she saw every moment as an opportunity to experience the richness of life.
Graveside services begin at noon on Monday, October 6 at the Monticello Cemetery. Visitation from prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Monticello Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
