Thomas Edway Redd November 23, 1933 ~ November 23, 2024

Tom was born in Price, Utah on November 23, 1933 to Ila and Edway Redd. He was the second of four children. His childhood years were spent in Price. In 1951, he moved with his family to Monticello, where he graduated from Monticello High School with the class of 1952. He continued his education at the General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan. Following a tour of duty with the U.S. Army, Tom returned to Monticello where he worked with his father at Redd’s automotive dealership.
Tom moved his family to Blanding in 1967. He owned and operated Quality Ford Company. Later on her moved to Cortez, Colorado to establish Tom Redd Chevrolet. He retired in Scottsdale, Arizona and spend his remaining years there. 
Tom died in Phoenix on his 91st birthday. He is survived by his children, Joyce Shomaker, Diane Richardson, Cheryl Reid and Bruce Redd. Three of his sons, Kevin Redd, David Shomaker and Shawn Redd preceded him in death. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two sisters, Arita Sparks and Kathleen Hendrickson. Interment will be in Phoenix, Arizona with full military honors.
