Tiffany Rose Montano

December 22, 1980 ~ May 1, 2019
In loving memory of Tiffany Rose Montano: Our little angel went home to heaven to be with her Heavenly Father and her mom (grandma) on May 1,  2019 at the Orchard Park Estates in Orem, UT. She lived there for only three days after a month-long stay in the hospital, due to pneumonia that ultimately caused respiratory failure.
Tiff was born on December 22, 1980 to Ross and Lori Montano of Dove Creek, CO.  She was born with cerebral palsy, so she was extra special from the beginning. She was our little angel of love.
She was raised by her grandma whom she called mom, Rosa Thobe, and her aunts and uncles.  She was the biggest blessing our family has every received.
She taught most of us what love is truly about and was a precise example as to how we should live as human beings.
She had many struggles throughout her life but somehow always managed a smile and a positive attitude. She was always ready to go bye-bye, and she loved being outside.
She loved music, and her favorite thing to do was watch home videos.  Her family was the most important to her.
Tiffany touched the lives of many.  She had such an impact on people that if you crossed paths with her you couldn’t help but to feel blessed because the love and forgiveness she had for everyone was truly amazing.
She attended school in Monticello starting with the early intervention program and graduated from Monticello High School.  She loved learning as well as her teachers.
She received a medal for being a part of the Special Olympics where she raced with her walker.
She traded her walker and wheelchair in for wings.  She is finally free where she can run, fly, and dance and is no longer trapped in a body that restricts her from doing these things.
She will truly be missed by all who knew her.  She taught us so much.
She is preceded in death by her grandma (mom), Rosa Thobe, Uncle Dan Thobe, and Aunt Kathy Thobe.
She is survived by her natural mother, Lori Hickman of Florida; two brothers, Justin Hickman (Monticello) and Brandon Hickman (Maine); her step-grandpa, Richard Thobe; her Aunt Trina Thobe (Uncle Matt Haws) who lived with Tiffany most of her life and is her soul mate; her Aunt Lynn CasaSanta of Florida; Sandy Evans of Salt Lake City; her Aunt Kim Thobe of Blanding; her Uncle Duane Thobe of Salt Lake City; and Nova Thobe of Springville, UT; two nieces of Fillmore, UT, Shaylyn and Kyla Hickman; and many many cousins.
We (Matt, Trina, Sandy, and Kim) will host a celebration of life get-together at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at Veterans Park in Monticello. We will remember Tiffany with a candlelight vigil. All are welcome and refreshments will be served.
