Welma Williams

Former Monticello resident
After 88 years, Welma Violet (Hoggard) Williams passed from this life on December 10, 2014.
She and her first husband, Prince Houston, raised their four children in Monticello, UT from 1948 to 1964.
She desired that her ashes be buried next to her son, Brent Houston, who preceded her in death.
Welma is survived by her son Steve, daughters Mickey and Jeannette, and numerous grandchildren.
Welma enjoyed being a career woman, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, and an artist. As an artist she painted every surface from rocks to canvas and was accomplished at several other handicrafts.
Welma lived her life as an example of a loving, caring, and generous person.
She and her sweet smile are deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside memorial services will be held at the Monticello Cemetery on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11 a.m.
