William Roylance Montague October 2,1940 ~ April 11, 2023

William Roylance (Bill) Montague, age 82, passed away on April 11, 2023 in St. George, UT. He was born October 2, 1940 in Payson, UT to Lois Lavern Cooper and Roy Montague.
He married Marjorie Ann Tripp. They were married in Salt Lake, UT on December 15, 1971 and were later divorced.
Bill lived in many different places but most of his life was spent in Great Falls, MT, various parts of Texas, and then Monticello, UT. He was a long-haul truck driver most of his career. He served in the Army from 1963 to 1965.
He liked helping out at the Senior Center in Monticello until his health forced him to stop at 81 years of age.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints and spent many hours working in the Monticello Temple.
He is survived by his children Peter (Leslie) Montague of Duchesne, UT; Sandra Montague of Pocatello, ID; William (Cynde) Montague of Monticello; Denise Montague of Payson, UT; Benjamin (Lori) Montague of Springville, UT; Michael (Laura) Montague of Pleasant Grove, UT; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and sister Lois Ann (Sann) Huish Lyman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Kenneth Montague, daughter Sara Montague, and sister Charmayne Williams.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, May 6 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints in Eastland, UT.
