Yancy Lee Dalton

Yancy Lee Dalton passed away on November 28, 2020 in Arizona where he was living.

Yancy was born May 12, 1942 in Moab. He was the first of five children of Max and Nell Dalton.

Yancy spent his entire childhood in Monticello and graduated from Monticello High School in 1960.

He went to a year of college in Cedar City, UT, then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia.

He married Audrey Black and they had six children: Terrill Raemon, Julie Annette, Linda Echo, Dillon Darwin, Sean Quinn, and Ariane Faith. He adopted Stephen Dubose.

He later divorced and then married Diana Marie Williams on December 6, 2003.

Yancy built fences for a living. Playing pool was his passion.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law.

He is survived by his wife Diana, his seven children and their spouses, his brother and three sisters, 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
