Local law enforcement is asking for help in locating a missing Blanding teen.
The 15 year old Ethan Brown left his home on March 31 and was last seen on the morning of April 1 in Monticello in front of the Maverik gas station, according to a release from the San Juan County Sheriff’s office. On that morning, he reportedly asked for rides to Cortez and possibly further east.
Brown is listed as five foot-five inches, weighing 120 pounds with shaggy blonde hair and brown eyes. He also has braces on his teeth, a mole on his right wrist and a burn scar on the back of his left forearm.
He was last seen wearing a red flannel long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, cowboy hat and cowboy boots, backpack and carrying a case.
Brown has been listed as missing/runaway in the National Crime Information Center.
On the morning of April 7, San Juan County Sheriff’s office reports no update on his whereabouts but continue to follow up on potential sightings.
Anyone with information regarding Brown’s location or possible whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 435-587-2237 or call 911.
The Sheriff’s office reports Brown left his primary cell phone at home but they think he could have a second cell phone. The sheriff’s office asks that anyone with his number or any information about his social media account or any other information to contact them.
