Rep. Curtis tours San Juan County

Congressman John Curtis recently made a whirlwind tour through San Juan County, arriving from the north and exiting to New Mexico.
Curtis led two town hall meetings, with approximately 80 people participating in Bluff and more than 50 attending a meeting in Mexican Water.
Curtis said the town halls meetings are “the best tool we have to stay in touch and be accountable.”
With more than 125 total meetings, it is his fourth meeting on the reservation.
Other visits include a wide range elected officials in the county and tours ROAM, San Juan Hospital, and Youngs Machine in Monticello, the school district and White Mesa Mill in Blanding, and Bluff Fort, and Friends of Cedar Mesa in Bluff.
He also met with Ute Mountain Tribal officials in Towaoc, CO, and Zuni officials in New Mexico.
