San Juan High School athlete recognized as a top tier baseball player

San Juan High School junior shortstop Davis Mendoza has been recognized by human performance company EXOS as one of the top tier baseball players in the west region of Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Idaho, and Montana.
Mendoza will be one of 50 athletes at the EXOS Select 50 instructional showcase this Saturday, June 29 in Poenix, AZ, where he will learn and be evaluated by current Major League Baseball scouts for various levels of national, regional, and collegiate exposure.
A college prospect, Mendoza was selected to represent Head Coach Jens Nielson and the state of Utah for his varsity accomplishments at San Juan High School.
According to high school stats website MaxPreps.com, Mendoza has a .362 career batting average that includes 50 hits in 138 at bats. He batted .397 for San Juan High School this season, scored 24 runs, and drove in 13.
EXOS is ranked number one in the world of sports performance and utilizes systems that support World Series Champions, All-Stars, MVPs, Hall of Famers, Draft Picks, All-Americans, National Champions, and numerous high school standouts.
