Monument Valley High School basketball

The Monument Valley Cougars closed the preseason with a first-place finish in the Bear Bracket of the Albuquerque Striking Eagle Invitational basketball tournament at the University of New Mexico. The Cougars are coached by Derrick Chee. The roster includes Brandon Wilson (10), Lakota Benally (11), Devon Slim (14), Khalid Begay (20), Adriano Mann (24), Tanin Carlson (25), Raynaldo Black (30), Trey Littlehat (40), Jeremy Yellowhair (44), and Leland Atene (50).
