Head Coach Barkley Christensen: “Heading into the summer we were still searching for someone who could step into one of our slot receiver and safety roles. Brigg had the size and athleticism, but we didn’t know if his youth would allow him to play with guys at the varsity level. He sure showed us he was ready to not only compete with the varsity players, but dominate them.
“Brigg had a huge season for us on both sides of the ball as only a sophomore. He finished the year with 429 receiving yards and three touchdowns. On defense, he had 74 total tackles, one sack, four interceptions, and a forced fumble
“ As a sophomore Brigg was not just another member of the team. He was a leader in his own right and always seamed to step up when we needed him. We are pumped to have him back for the next two years and can’t wait to see what he develops into. Congratulations on this award, Brigg! Let’s do it again next year!”
