Head Coach Krieg Adair: “John took his wrestling to a whole new level this season, especially after the Christmas break. He truly locked in and was completely dominant on the mat. He was exciting to watch. John led the team in wins for the second year in a row with 36.
“He also passed the century mark this season and now has 106 career high school wins. Simply put, John Dot wins matches. He wrestled a flawless divisional tournament and took first place. At state, he continued that dominance and earned a spot in the state championship match.
“John is now a two-time state finalist and a three-time state placer. He has had a great career so far, with one chapter still to write. It will be exciting to see just how much he accomplishes in his senior season; we suspect it will involve a lot of gold. We are very proud of John and what he accomplished this season.”
