Head Coach Easton Nielson: “This is a well-deserved accomplishment for Jagger. He is an elite competitor and throughout this past season he did many things – statistical and not statistical – that really boosted our team. If every player who ever came through San Juan would compete to win the same way Jagger does, our basketball program would be loaded for a long time to come.
“While he certainly found his place in the box score in many of our games, his effort was defined by always doing whatever he could to help our team win. It is admirable to find a kid with his ability who places more value on the team’s success than personal stats.
“Outside of the game Jagger is just a fun kid to be around. There are sides of Jagger that I’ve been able to get to know through coaching and teaching that I wish more people could see. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors and I’m proud of him for leaving his mark on our program.”
