Head Coach Jeff Hunt: “Jaeden’s fun-loving personality belies the fact that he is a speed demon on the track. Last year he was the only one on the boys team to finish on the podium in all four events. This year he did it again. Eight medals in two years makes him one of the most decorated Buckaroos ever, and it’s definitely one of the most successful two-year stretches in history of Monticello High School.
“The boys 4x400 relay was also the most exciting finish of the meet as Jaeden was about ten meters behind and narrowly missed the upset. The most interesting aspect about this year was that two weeks before the state meet he pulled up injured at the Southern Utah University Invitational.”
