Josie Mack 1A State Track Monticello Junior 4x400 Meter Relay State Champion

Head Coach Jeff Hunt: “Josie is the elder statesman on the 4x400 relay team. This is the second year in a row she has been on top with that particular relay team. 
“Last year she was the only underclassman with a group of seniors; this year she was the lone junior with a group of two freshmen and a sophomore.
“In both years the team needed her consistency to have a chance to win the title. She is also a model of consistency in everything else she does. When you look at any meet, Josie is getting two points here or four points there.
“Josie is the athlete you absolutely need to increase team scores and win trophies. She also medaled in both the 100 meter and 300-meter hurdles.”
