Lariah O'Harra 1A State Track Monticello Freshman 4x400 Meter Relay State Champion

Head Coach Jeff Hunt: “Lariah is an absolute firecracker. That intensity shows when she is out on the track.
“She hates to lose. Whether she is lining up the 100 meter or anchoring the 4x400 relay you know you will get her all.
“Often, being the smallest girl on the starting line has only increased the fire that she has to be the best at what she does.
“When she got the baton for the final leg of the 4x400, the team gave her a 30-meter lead, but she had the state champion 400-meter runner on her tail and she had to pour it on at the end to get us to the top of the podium.”
