Latalia O'Harra 1A State Track Monticello Sophomore 4x400 Meter Relay State Champion

Head Coach Jeff Hunt: “Latalia is the prime example that if you work hard enough and do what the coaches ask, you will be in a position to succeed.
“Through the past two years she has worked hard to find where she best fits. This year it has been as a 400-meter specialist, both individually and in relays.
“When the gun went off for the 4x400, Latalia took off like a shot and even though she had to fight down the stretch, she got a lead that the rest of the team would never let go. She is also one of the nicest, most supportive athletes on the team.”
