Monticello softball season ends in Monroe

The Monticello High School softball team’s season came to a close this past Saturday, May 3 with a tough 10-9 loss to Piute in a 2A state play-in game in Monroe.
The #17 Lady Buckaroos played one of their best games of the season but came up just short against the #16 Lady Thunderbirds.
Monticello ends the year with a 2-14 overall record with their wins coming against the Pinnacle Lady Panthers. They were 0-10 in 2A Central region play.
