Monument Valley runners compete in state meet

Monument Valley High School had two runners competing in the state 1A cross country meet at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City October 28.
Leading the way for the Cougars was senior Josiah Gipe who finished in 32 place in a time of 19 minutes, 19 seconds.
Sophomore Summer Atene was the lone Monument Valley girl running at the state meet. Atene finished in 44th place with her time of 25:01.
