Raiders football wins, Cougars lose

The Whitehorse Raiders earned a dominant 56-12 victory over Utah Military Academy - Hill Field on the road on August 27.
The Raiders made the road trip up to Ogden to play the Thunderbirds on a Thursday evening and won in convincing fashion.
While stats haven’t been posted for the Raiders offense, their defense was stifling.
Whitehorse Limited UMA to 125 yards of offense with all those gains coming on the ground and none through the air.
The defense caused six fumbles and forced five punts in a suffocating performance.
Whitehorse is now 2-1 on the season with wins over UMA Hill Field, and St Joseph. Their one loss was the season opener to Milford who was last year’s runner-up in the 8-player title game.
The Raiders are back on the road headed to Hildale, Utah to play Water Canyon on Friday September 4. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm.
Monument Valley dropped their opening game of the season to the Panguitch Bobcats 52-14. The Cougars are once again home this weekend hosting Utah Military Academy - Hill Field on Friday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m.
