The 2024 San Juan High School girls soccer team had a productive trip to Farmington, NM this past weekend, going 2-1 in the Navajo Prep Tournament with wins over Kirtland JV and Shiprock. Brinley Jones, Ari Adams, and Evie McCullough all scored in the Lady Broncos’ 3-0 win over Kirtland’s JV team on Friday, September 13. Jones, Brittany Jensen, and McCullough scored in their 3-0 win over Shiprock on Saturday, September 14. And McCullough netted the only goal in San Juan’s 3-1 loss to Farmington later that day. The girls are right in the middle of the 2A pack, ranked ninth to start this week. Their three wins against varsity teams this season are the most in a season since 2020-21. The Lady Broncos resume region play on Thursday, September 19 at #3 Grand County. They’ll play #11 Beaver next Thursday, September 26.
