San Juan girls golf closes year at state

The San Juan High School girls golf team traveled to Salt Lake City on Tuesday, May 14 to play in the 2024 2A Utah State Championships at the Glendale Golf Course.
The girls shot a round of 541 to finish 14th at the tournament. Marley Decker led the team in 50th overall with her round of 123.
Megan Black tied for 66th with a 138-stroke day. Bailey Moultan and Lady Bronco teammate Ohla Krukovska tied for 68th with identical rounds of 140.
Jordan Jones was 73rd, scoring 143. And Brooklyn Pincock rounded out San Juan team scoring in 77th with a round of 160.
Following the conclusion of the season Lady Bronco Head Coach Lehi Lacy said he was very impressed with the growth of the team. “They improved every tournament by 10-20 strokes,” he detailed.
“We have a young team,” Lehi concluded, “that can make huge improvements in the next couple years.”
