San Juan girls golf prepares for state

The San Juan High School girls golf team played four matches over the course of the past month, culminating with their most recent round at the Round Valley Golf Course in Morgan, UT which decided the Region 15 Championship.
The Lady Broncos finished fifth in that event with a team score of 574. North Summit won the championship with their score of 443.
Individually Marley Decker led the way for San Juan with a 132. Ohla Krukovska scored a 143, Megan Black carded a 149, and Jordan Jones played a round of 150.
On April 11 the Lady Broncos “hosted” region teams at the Hideout Golf Course in Monticello where the team shot a 543 in their second-best round of the season.
C’ona Dandy led with a very nice 118, Marley Decker shot a 134, Bailey Moultan got a 141, and Jordan Jones scored 150.
On April 18 the team was in Sterling, UT to play the Palisades Golf Course. The team shot a 603 led by Marley Decker’s 141. Ohla Krukovska carded a 152, Brooklyn Pincock came in with a 153, and Jordan Jones was right behind with a 157.
San Juan played the Paradise Golf Resort in Fillmore in what was their best round of the season on April 24. The team combined for a score of 515, finishing third ahead of North Sevier and Grand County.
Marley Decker shot a 118 to pace the squad, Megan Black scored a 125, Jordan Jones carded a 133, and Ohla Krukovska got a 139.
The Lady Broncos are gearing up for the 2024 Utah State Golf Tournament which will be played on Tuesday, May 14 at the Glendale Golf Course in Salt Lake City.
