Head Coach Jens Nielson: “I was very impressed with the adjustments Corbin made to his game starting at the end of his junior year and all through his senior year. He was very coachable and wanted to do whatever it took to contribute to his team’s success and his own.
“Corbin worked hard and that hard work paid off. He had a very good year and deserves to be recognized for his efforts and success. We will miss having Corbin around our program.”

This year was so much fun to coach and these players were at the core of why it was successful and why it was so much fun. Each one of them could have easily made First Team All-State. They are dynamic players whose impact will be hard to replace.
From what we gathered from the data available, this year’s squad set a San Juan High School record for home runs in a season with 27. The group of five All-State boys led the charge, contributing 21 of those 27 blasts, with the other two seniors – Brody Bilbao and Jaiten Knight – hitting the other six.
Those are impressive numbers from some very good baseball players. We wish you guys the best of luck. This season will always be one of the highlights of my coaching career. Congratulations, boys!
