Head Coach Easton Nielson: “Big congratulations to Tripp for earning All-State recognition for this past season. All year long he was a central piece of our team so this is no surprise to see. Tripp carried a big load this year. Every opposing team put a lot of time and thought into to figuring out how to manage him.
“In spite of that, he produced in big ways and in big moments for us throughout the year. From 17 double-doubles to a couple game winners, he did a lot for the success of our group. Tripp’s athleticism will be something I know many will miss next year. We’ve been lucky to have a guy who can dunk so easily and so convincingly the last couple years.
“There have been many memorable plays from the last couple years that not every guy is able to do. Tripp is simply not a common player. He excels in everything he does and while his athleticism plays a big role in what he’s able to do, his work ethic drives him even farther. It has been a pleasure being able to compete with him across the last four years and I’m very excited to see him step into the next chapters of his life. He will continue to do exceptional things.”
