Coach Andrea Nielson: “A junior in her third year of track and field, Sadie set a goal at the beginning of the season to earn a spot on the state podium. Through consistent effort at practice and extra work outside of competition, she turned that goal into reality.
“She placed third in the javelin at the state meet with a throw of 117 feet, two inches. Known for quietly going about her business and letting her performance speak for itself, she demonstrated the value of perseverance and dedication throughout the season.”
