Whitehorse, San Juan and Monticello track all busy

Members of the Whitehorse Raiders track and field team had a successful outing at the San Juan Invitational in Blanding on April 13.
The Raiders boys team was led by Elam Etsitty who took first in the 400 and 800 meter runs. Etsitty was also 4th in the high jump, 6th in the 200 and 9th in the 100. Teammate Hyatt Thomas finished 4th in the 800.
The Raider girls were led by Shandiin Roberts who finished 2nd in the shot put, 3rd in the discus and 6th in the javelin.
Keiarra Martin finished 2nd in the 200 and 10th in the 100. Maria Yellowman finished 3rd in both the 1600 and 3200. Yellowman was also 5th in the long jump and 6th in the high jump.
Hope Palmer finished 6th in the discus and the shot put for the Raiders. Masina Van Enkenvoort was 8th in the shot put, while Malia Sam was 9th in the 200 and the shot put as well as 10th in the discus and LaKyara Begay finished 10th in the shot put.
The Raiders girls team also finished 2nd in the sprint medley relay with Begay, Van Enkenvoort, Martin and Yellowman.
Whitehorse took 3rd in the 4x100 made up of Begay, Martin, Sam and Van Enkenvoort.
The San Juan boys were first at that same home meet. The Broncos were led by Miken Keith who finished 1st in the 100 and 200 and 2nd in the javelin.
Tripp Palmer was first in the high jump and long jump and 4th in the discus and shot put. Cash Palmer was first in the discus and shot put. Rosendo Martine was first in the 3200 and second in the 1600.
Ryan Shumway was first in the javelin, sixth in the 110 hurdles and the discus and 7th in the shot put. Platte Lyman was 1st in the 1600.
Brigg Palmer was 1st in the 110 hurdles, 5th in the 100 and 8th in the shot put. Andrew Nielson was 1st in 300 hurdles, 3rd in the 200 and 4th in the 100. Thomas Hardin was 2nd shot put and 3rd in the javelin.
Kooper Laws was 2nd 110 hurdles, and 4th in 300 hurdles. Trey Bradford was 2nd in the discus and 6th in the shot put. James Gosney was 2nd in the 3200 and 5th in the 1600. Max Stearns was 2nd in the long jump.
Kai Fox finished 3rd in the discus and shot put and 8th in the javelin. George McNaughtan was 3rd in the high jump.
Bronx Black finished 4th in the javelin and 6th in the long jump. Staley Dandy finished 4th in the long jump, and 8th in the 200 dash.
Gaige Palmer was 5th in the discus and shot put. Jett Richmond was 5th javelin and 8th on discus. Peyton Pehrson was 5th in 110 hurdles
Evan Bradford finished 7th in the long jump. The Bronco 4x100 relay team finished 2nd made up of Miken Keith, Kooper Laws, Brigg Palmer, and Max Stearns.
The San Juan girls were runners up at the meet led by Keezie Flannery who was 1st in the long jump and high jump and 3rd in the 100 hurdles.
Aspyn Ivins finished 1st in the 300 hurdles, 3rd in the shot put, 4th in the 100 hurdles and 5th in the high jump. Sincere Nez was 1st in 3200 and 2nd in the 400
Sadie Palmer was 1st in the javelin. Havyn Pehrson was 1st in the 800. Addison Helquist finished 2nd in the 100 and 4th in long jump
Adison Ivins was 2nd in the long jump and 4th in the high jump and javelin. Myra Zohnnie was 2nd in the javelin, 4th in the shot put and 5th in discus.
Lucy Black was 2nd in the discus. Lyvanna Benn finished 3rd in the javelin. Faith Flannery finished 3rd in long jump and high jump and 7th in the 100 hurdles
Ava Duke finished 4th in the 1600. Brinkley Knight finished 5th in shot put, and 7th in the javelin. Taya Chamberlain finished 5th in the javelin.
Breckyn Helquist was 6th in the 200.
Navy Nieves finished 6th in the long jump. Cyndie Palmer was 7th in discus and shot put. Alicia McArthur was 8th in the discus.
In the relays the lady Broncos 4x100 team finished in first place with Keezie Flannery, Addison Helquist, Addison Ivins, and Aspyn Ivins winning the race.
Members of the Monticello and San Juan track and field team competed at the Eastern Utah Championships meet at Emery High on April 18.
The Monticello boys finished 3rd at the event and were led by Brandston Mack who finished 2nd in the 300 hurdles, 3rd in the high jump and 7th in the 100 meter dash.
Cash Mack also competed well for the Buckaroos finishing 3rd in the long jump, while Kooper Nielson finished 3rd in the 300 hurdles.
Seth Taylor finished 4th in the 110 hurdles and 6th in the 300 hurdles while Carter Francom was 4th in the high jump.
Eli Carling was 5th in the 1600, and 6th place in both the 800 and 3200. Jaeden Camacho finished 8th in the 200. The boys were also 2nd in the 4x100 meter relay with a team made up of both Macks, Camacho and Kord Young
The boys were 4th in the medley relay with a team made up of Linden English, Miles Coleman, Ivan Montgomery and JJ Dekorreon Sanders.
The San Juan boys were 4th place as a team at the meet.
Andrew Neilson led the way finishing 1st in the 300 hurdles, and 2nd in the 110 hurdles.

The Broncos also went 7th, 8th and 9th in the 3200 with Peter Lyman, James Gosney and Jeraden Hurst all finishing top 10 for San Juan.

Sadie Palmer was 2nd in the javelin for San Juan while Myra Zohnnie was 3rd in the javelin.

The Monticello girls finished 5th at the meet.
The Bucks were led by Marlee Mack who finished 2nd in the 300 hurdles, 3rd in the long jump and 100 and 5th in the 200.
Maron Freestone finished 3rd in the 400 for Monticello and 5th in the 100 hurdles and 5th in the high jump.
Lariah O’Harra finished 6th in the 400. Josie Mack finished 8th in the 100 and 300 hurdles.
