Suzanne Shaw July 28, 1941 ~ September 18, 2022

Suzanne Shaw
A beautiful loving soul has graduated and gone to heaven where she is being welcomed home by her beloved sweetheart and her son whom she has longed to reunite with, and many other loved ones.
Ada Suzanne Wood Shaw passed away September 18, 2022 in Centerfield, UT.  She was born July 28, 1941 in Murray, UT to Vernal and Glenda Rose Cruser Wood.
Suzanne was known to all as being caring, compassionate, tolerant, forgiving, and patient. Her best talent was loving others unconditionally, with no judgment.
She married Therron V Shaw on July 5, 1958 in the Manti Utah Temple.  He preceded her in death on April 6, 2018.
Suzanne’s biggest dream and greatest accomplishment was being a mother of her eight children.
Not only did she have her own children but took many others under her wing.
Her grandkids enjoyed making tents all over her house, playing with her homemade Play-Doh, eating her rice pudding, jumping on the trampoline in her backyard, and riding down the stairs on blankets.
Most of all they loved being snuggled in her rocking chair.
Suzanne was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she contributed her talent of decorating for events, teaching Relief Society, Young Women’s and Primary.
She was passionate about genealogy and worked at the genealogy center.
In her earlier years she worked as a secretary for Hercules where she was fast at typing and shorthand.
She co-founded Shaw’s Cleaning service with her husband and worked as a custodian for the Church for 20 years.
Suzanne is survived by her children Renee Shaw, Diane (Kelly) Mason, Wendy (Donald) Gragg, Brian (Necia) Shaw, Jodie (Ryan) Coates, Wesley (Kari) Shaw, Devin (Kristie) Shaw, daughter-in-law Tiara Shaw, 27 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, siblings Merril (Jimmy) Wood, Linda (Ken) Bailey, and sisters-in-law Carol Wood and Deanie Wood.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son David Charles Shaw, and siblings Truman Wood and Richard Wood.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mission at Community Living, her doctor Jason Okerlund, and staff.
