It was a tough week for the San Juan High School basketball teams with just one win in four games as they entered Region 12 play in earnest.
For the second year in a row, the Monticello High School boys basketball team did what they hadn’t been able to do for years – win back-to-back home games against the Grand County Red Devils.
The Monticello Buckaroos hosted their first and only home dual of the season this past Wednesday, January 20, facing off against the rivals San Juan and Grand County.
