New Year baby

Robert Hanson Laws is the 2016 New Year Baby at San Juan Hospital. The son of James and Kara Laws was born at 1:04 a.m. on January 19, 2016. He was delivered by Dr. Kelly Jeppeson and weighs in at 8 lbs, 2.5 oz and 21.5 inches. The baby goes home to Blanding under the watchful care of a two-year-old brother, Chevy. He is the grandson of Lyle and Cindy Bayles and Harold and Betty Keylon, all of Blanding. The baby is welcomed by family and friends and by a host of gifts donated by area businesses. A New Year Baby has also been welcomed at Blue Mountain Hospital in Blanding. The family requested that the name of the baby and mother not be published. Staff photo
