Tangled elk

What a headache this massive elk must be suffering after having a fight to the death with another elk. The two animals, one dead and the other completely exhausted, were discovered in the aptly named Elk Meadows area north of Monticello. In an attempt to separate the animals, officials from the Utah Department of Wildlife Resources used a bone saw to cut one of the antlers from the dead elk. The antler remains firmly attached to the surviving
